I am constantly amazed with these contests. How many participants do you imagine there will be? I suspect that most of them will be linking to all sites which means that the supporting sites will get a ton of links for maybe $25-$35? That’s a great deal!

Yes, each of the 4 sponsors paid $50 so that makes the total prize at $200 for the participating bloggers. It’s a great way to gain backlinks and since my site is dedicated to bloggers (it’s a Digg-like) bloggertricks was the perfect fit for a sponsorship. These blog contests always look interesting. I wonder how much traffic they get. And is there a software solution to add up the points for, say, social website submissions / commenting / linking? It seems a pain to do it all manually!
