Here is some tips when using Social Media to promoting our products, i’m not trying to be some guru marketing, but i’m only hope this tips can help you using social media and not wasting your time in some social media communities. Well let’s start it , when we participate in social networking communities, consider to join one that consist of people targeted to what we are selling. It is much better to find a smaller niche community where we can have a networking impact than just spending all of our time on major social media sites.
Don’t Promote our products but it’s better to promote ourself first, it’s the same like when we go to some event, and someone that you don’t know before start selling something to us, it just doesn’t feel right and we usually look to avoid that kind of person. And this goes for social media sites too, use them to network and make connections with others, don’t use them to sell. If others feel comfortable with us , they will interested in our offers because they trust us.
Don’t Ruin our Social Media with Link Bait, we better Make it a valuable piece. Take the time to make it something valuable. When we want people link to us. Make them think that our stuff have quality or they are not going to link to us.
Give them what they looking for. When we use social media we should figure out what we are trying to reach out about, knowing our target audience and who we are trying to reach out to. Choose the right kind of products to promote to those target audiences. Make sure that we give them what they are looking for, but not what we are think they are going to be looking for.
And the last is play safe, always follow the rules that has been writen, don’t try to make some tricks to avoid it, or you could end up loosing something valuable and ruins your brands.

If you submit enough pages from sites you visit normally eventually what goes around, comes around. Someone will reciprocate. Social media is almost natural in that way. Like what you like and don’t worry. Of course, there is more to it than that, but it is a good way to start.

I agree with the idea of promoting yourself first, but also on the point about putting out quality material. If you want links, you need to put out good content or else everyone else will look at your work and think you’re a spammer, even if you’re not.
